Studebaker Ace by Lotusbandicoot Studebaker Ace by Lotusbandicoot
Here's a photo of the actual truck: [link]

On our trip to South Bend, IN, we visited the Studebaker National Museum. There was a 1936 Studebaker Ace cab-forward, and this was the art deco emblem on its grill.

Yep, that's a good plaque and car you found, like I always admired of the vareity of outer designs and diversity of automotive firms there where before the 1970s. American cars like this are good examples.

Yup, my favorite decades have to be... basically anything from the 1880s to 1970 for American cars. For me, the saving grace of 1970 was the Mustang. Specifically the Mach 1 and Boss models.

Understand, like all the American cars of the 1970s and 80s had the outer and inner designs of the 1960s streamlined cars with lower quality. even today, the SUV is still king despite the need of Green Technology and Electric cars.

Yeah, me too.

From what I've read from Wikipedia, the style of art deco
originated from France in the 1920s and it flourished to
the U.S. in the 1930s.

It certainly did. :D

By the way, I use the art deco fonts for my icon and that
vintage logo I've done. ;)
